The wind blew slowly and carried a hint of Earth that Musa enjoyed. She sat atop of a house, her long brown hair with gold at the top of her head, wearing a white shirt with a purple vest and some old brown shorts and no shoes as she sat watching the people in the village with her amethyst colored eyes do their work, chopping wood, going hunting. It was all something she found interesting.

Of course, being over 100 years old had its perks, as well as it's consequences. She watched people die and get sick, not able to ease their pain. She felt a twinge of sadness in her chest. She remembered about 50 or so years ago she joined with her father, spreading nightmares around.

Now she was luck enough to have been found by Sandman, her father's enemy. She remembered how scared she was when she met Sandy. She'd been taught to fear him, to hate him.

But Sandy had been patience with her and steady, helping her come out of her gaze, healing old wounds that Pitch had inflicted onto her. She, in turn, trusted him and allowed him to help her.

He then changed her hair color, from black, signifying nightmare sand to gold, signifying her new life, her change from evil to good. Then he began to help her control her sand powers and actually create dreams.

She was all to happy to learn to use dreamsand, she trained her powers with Sandy's permission, in small villages and watch over her. She now considered him as her true father, and he was happy to have her as his daughter.

Musa sighed as she slowly slipped down from the roof and started to fly, spreading her dreamsand as she went. She smiled and flew around humming a soft tune and then looked around and went into the forest and saw a curious sight.

A boy, looking about maybe 17 or 18 with jet black hair with high cheekbone structure, wearing a gray scarf around his neck and a green jacket with a dark gray long-sleeve shirt, his arms crossed loosely over his chest, wearing a black pair of pants with some black boots. She didn't miss the long gray tail with a triangular green tip at the end.

She blinked and looked back at him. 'Are you a spirit as well?' She wondered. Musa could see the pain on his features and felt a twinge of sadness. She gently touched his cheek and saw his nightmare.

A large forest fire, deer running, bright green eyes, the humans shooting them with guns. A female deer with a small fawn lying beside her, begging the one before her to shift and protect his little brother.

Musa pulled away with a small gasp, a tear slowly rolling down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away and smiled down at the sleeping boy. “You've been through so much pain.” She said softly as she pulled her hands away and clasped them together before opening them as golden sand swirled in her hands. The brunett/golden haired girl looked back down to him and smiled. “Let me at least ease some pain when you dream.” She said as she let the sand move to him and swirl around him.

She smiled as she watched the pain on the boy's face slowly turned into contentment. Musa smiled as she thought of an idea and went away. She flew to her home, which wasn't much, an old abandoned house. She smiled as she pulled her blanket off her cot and put it over her arm before flying out the window and finding the boy still there.

She smiled and slowly flew over to him and laid her blanket over his body. She knew how cold it could get during the nights and didn't want him to get sick. Musa hesitantly and gently placed a kiss on his cheek, hoping not to wake him from his dream. “Sleep well.” She whispered before flying away.

…..

Mori woke up from the sunlight peering through the branches of the trees. He'd always preferred the forest than any human's home.

The emerald green eyed boy huffed and sat up stretching and suddenly felt something shift as he did so. He looked down and saw a simple blanket and glared at it in anger and annoyance.

A human had come while he slept and out of pity, draped it over his body. He scowled but then noticed it didn't have a human's scent. He frowned then realized that he had possibly slept the best ever since the night his race was killed.

He frowned and shoved the blanket off his body, he knew that Sandman's sand couldn't effect him unless he had concentrated enough to make him dream. No, he wouldn't have the time for that. Then who? Who could have paid heed to him and helped him actually dream?

He thought about it before brushing it off, he had no time to dwell on these thoughts. He had to leave again. He didn't want, nor liked to stay in one place too long.

He stood up and grabbed his things, well what he had dropped as he had slept and started to walk away, looking back only once at the blanket that whoever had took care of him that night before turning around, his emotionless face now put on as he walked.

Musa watched him from afar and smiled weakly, wishing the boy luck on his travels before flying off. Knowing she had work to do in the other countries.
So I got this idea when I was looking at the two Oc memes on Livingalivecreators profile (Mainly this one- livingalivecreator.deviantart.… and I wanted to create a little thing like that too. As well as a certain fan art that you'll probably recognize. (livingalivecreator.deviantart.…

This also puts some detail into Musa's background, so I hope you all like it!
